ReadyMontco is a Montgomery County system that helps local officials in Southeastern Pennsylvania send emergency text alerts and other important notifications to you quickly. ReadyMontco can send these to your cell phone, pager, BlackBerry, PDA, and/or email account. You decide how you'd like to be notified.
The alert system is for anyone living or working in Montgomery County and you can tailor your message categories to fit your needs. Please note: Anyone needing any type of special assistance is strongly urged to sign up for this service.
These alerts are free; however, your cellular provider may charge for text messaging. You can receive emergency alerts and may choose to receive other alerts, such as weather warnings, transportation delays and crime information.
