Tricentennial Celebration



In 2026, Limerick Township will celebrate its 300th anniversary, coinciding with the 250th birthday of the United States — making this a truly momentous year for our community!

We will begin by hosting a "Community Dîner en Blanc" in our community park on Friday, September 25, 2026. Dîner en Blanc (translated to "Dinner in White") is a global culinary event where people gather for a picnic-style meal in a public location, with everyone dressed in white. Guests will bring their own food, drinks, and decorations, emphasizing a sense of friendship and local flair.

The Tricentennial Celebration’s main event will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026 with a Street Fair, to be held on West Ridge Pike in the area of the original “Limerick Village” section of our Township where our history really took root. This vibrant fair will boast entertainment, children’s activities, local vendors, delicious food, and beer garden. There will be something for everyone to enjoy! That evening, we will move the festivities onto the Waltz Golf Farm property for a high energy concert and a spectacular fireworks show to close out the festivities. We hope to honor our past and build excitement for the next 300 years!
