Open Space Update Plan

Township Supervisors recently approved an update to the 2006 Open Space Plan, with Volunteer Citizens Advisory Panel meetings beginning in late 2019. Due to Covid-19, this project was temporarily put on hold; however, the Board of Supervisors approved meetings to begin again in 2021.  This new Open Space Plan, with an objective, to preserve the natural resources of the Township, will be a continuation of other long-range planning.

The DRAFT Comprehensive Open Space Plan Update was presented to the Board of Supervisors at their meeting on Tuesday, June 21st, 2021.

An Open Space Final Plan Presentation was shown to the Board of Supervisors at their meeting on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022.

The Board of Supervisors indicated they will make an action on the update at a future meeting, to allow surrounding townships and boroughs time to comment on the draft update.

Funding for this project is provided by the PECO Green Region Program, which supports innovative environmental projects to positively impact southeastern Pennsylvania communities.
