Youth Athletic Leagues
Boys and girls ages 3 – 6 years old have fun and learn the basics of soccer: dribbling, passing, trapping, shooting, and positioning. Each session consists of instruction in each aspect of the game, participation in fun, age appropriate drills that are designed to teach skills, and low-key, non-competitive game.
Jump Into Gym
Children ages 2 to 4.5 will be introduced to a number of age-appropriate physical education concepts in this dynamic new offering in Limerick Township.The class is designed to develop socialization, listening and body awareness skills. Children will work on loco motor movements, foot-eye and hand-eye coordination and general motor skills in a fun-filled environment. They will participate in interactive games that will prepare them for more organized school or sports activities.
Date: Thursdays, November 7th - December 12th (No class November 28th)
Time: 4:30-5:15 or 5:15-6:00 or 6:00-6:45
Location: Linfield Fire Station
Children ages 2.5-5 year old are provided with a positive, age-appropriate introduction to a variety of sports. Sports offered include soccer, football, hockey, track and field, basketball, and more. Program also includes the development of loco-motor movements and fun fitness actives. All instruction is developmentally appropriate and is a great opportunity to enhance a child's physical, social, and emotional development.
NFL Youth Flag Football League
Youth co-ed players (Ages:5 to 13) will be organized and play according to NFL flag rules and regulations. Regular season includes practices and games. The league will provide jerseys,referees, flags, fields and footballs. No prior experience is necessary. Athletic attire and non-metal football cleats/sneakers required. Volunteer coaches are allowed for teams. Additional practice times and travel games are possible during the season.
