Township Manager
The Township Manager, appointed by the Board of Supervisors,
is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of
the Township as performed by the various departments. In addition
to long-range planning and fiscal management, the Manager
implements all policies, ordinances, resolutions and other
official directives of the Board of Supervisors.
Administrative Staff
Subdivision and land development applications are tracked
from the time of preliminary plan submission through the final
plan approval stage and the recording of plans. An integral
part of the review process is to ensure that plans comply
with the requirements of the Township’s Zoning and Subdivision
and Land Development Ordinances. Submissions are processed
in accordance with the requirements of the Pennsylvania Municipalities
Planning Code. This is accomplished through the guidance of
the Township Solicitor as well as appointed engineering staff.
Some of the other issues handled by administrative staff
include interaction with various other township commissions
and committees, handling open records requests, reservations
for the use of township-owned park
and recreational facilities, discount tickets for various
amusement parks, resident inquiries and a myriad of other
requests.
