Responsibilities of the Emergency Management
Coordinator (EMC) involve developing, reviewing, updating
and maintaining the Township Emergency Response Plan and its
Radiological Emergency Response Plan for the Limerick Generating
Station as well as managing the Township’s Emergency
Management Agency, a dedicated volunteer staff.
The documents provide guidance in preparing
for, responding to, and recovering from possible disasters
that may affect the Township, to help lessen their effects
and ensure that basic needs and services continue with as
little interruption as possible. To volunteer for the EMA,
