Supervisors Ken Sperring and Kara Shuler attended Thursday morning’s POD (Point of Distribution) exercise that was hosted by the Township at the Limerick Fire Station. The Township cooperated with the County Department of Health and Public Safety, along with five (5) area Municipal Emergency Management departments for this training exercise, which would be used in case of an emergency to distribute medicine, emergency supplies, and other necessary items, if the need were to arise.
“The Township has maintained support for all levels of public safety, which includes Emergency Management and the Board of Supervisors values the important work of our volunteers and support staff with all they do to keep Limerick Safe”, states Board Chairman, Ken Sperring.
