On October 27, 2018, Limerick Township welcomed the community in a dedication ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new municipal building complex. The 34,500 square foot complex was designed to accommodate the growing police force and administrative staff for the next 30 years. The completion of this project took 18 months and was completed under budget. Following the ribbon cutting, members of the community who attended were given tours of the Police Department and Administrative Offices.
Formal remarks were made by: Township Manager-Daniel Kerr, Board of Supervisors Chair-Elaine DeWan, Representative Thomas Quigley, Police Chief R. Brian Skelton, and KCBA Architects-Fred Diseroad.
