Limerick Township is home to Heritage Field Airport, Exelon’s Limerick Generating Station, Philadelphia Premium Outlets and several commercial and industrial businesses. It is one of four communities in the Spring-Ford Area School District which provides excellent educational opportunities.
Limerick Community Park, Veterans Park, Trinley River Park and Linfield Sports Park are excellent places for both passive and active recreation opportunites.

Limerick Township History
Limerick Township was incorporated
in 1726 and originally included the river crossing community of Royersford which

Exelon's Limerick Generating Station is partnering with Limerick Township in their efforts to provide its residents with excellent public services and an exceptional quality of life.They intend to provide $500,000 to the Township disbributed over a four year period to support the Township's parks and recreational facilities, Limerick & Linfield Fire companies and Township Police Department.
